The Music Team met on 4/8/21. All Members except Jeffery Bunch were present.
We discussed the Virtual New Member Process to make sure everyone understood the process and were in agreement as to how it was to work, especially the Section Leaders. After discussing it and all agreeing, Mark Wolf was asked to write up the process and send to Bob Karlin for proofing. After it was finalized, Bob would send to Ben Marder, Membersihp VP to be added to new member packet and to Shelley Herman to be added to the Capter Rules and Regulations.
We then discussed the Website and talked about how many members we thought were using it and how many were not using it very much because of their non-technical experience. We all decided we should not add many new functions so fast, and hold off until more members are more comfortable accessing and using the site.
Again we talked about the member song testing process. We all agreed that the best and easiest way to test members on songs would be via the Breakout Room sessions. The Section Leaers will have to keep track of the emails they receive when a member is "Test Ready" on songs so they can listen to them on specific songs and move the individuals to "Performance Ready" on the website, or what they need to work on. Only when the song status is changed to "performance Ready" will the member receive and email notifying them of the status change.
We then discussed the chorus Jamulus status as far as how many are Jamulus ready and how many do we have left that need help to get set up. At this point, we have four members to get set up and working. Hopefully, we can have everyone set up and working with Jamulus soon. I would like to set up a "Jamulus Chorus Test Rehearsal" on the last Monday rehearsal in May, whether that be the 24th or the 31st. We would have the first half via Zoom, and the second half vis Jamulus. I will keep everyone updated as to the progress as we go along.
We had no report from the Chorus Manager
For the "Good of the Chapter:, everyone felt we were continuing to do a good job, and the Team is looking forward to the "Jamulus Test" in May.
