VP Music & Performance-5/11/23

The Music Team Mtg. was called to order at 7:10pm. The members present were myself Jeffery, Bob and Mark Wolf.

The first topic of discussion was the 5/13 performance, making sure everything was finalized as far as making sure all necessary things were in place as far as hall set up and tear down, refreshments, performance flow, etc. Everything seemed to be in place at this time and everyone was looking forward to a successful performance.

We discussed briefly the new songs and when we would be presenting them to the chorus. Details to follow.

The Costume Committee, Jeffery, Beth and Toni are still in the process of looking for and making decisions on costumes for the chorus. Once there are some ideas and examples, the Music Team will discuss, make decisions and present to the board.

We discussed the PoleCat Program and how the Team felt the first couple of weeks went. There were some suggestions and ideas of how the program could run smoother and more effectively. The Team decided that we will delay the program for the next couple of rehearsals to give Mark W., and Bob time to meet and put together some visual aids for the program.

The Chorus Manager and the VP Marketing & PR are in process of contacting some of the shopping malls in the Valley are to see if it might be possible for the chorus or quartets to perform in hopes of trying to possibly get some people interested in joining our chorus. Details to follow.

Bob let the Team know that he is planning to distribute the Holiday CD the first rehearsal in June.

The Chorus Manager will have a few more items the Team discussed in his report to the Board.
