On Monday December 18, 2023, we culminated 2023 with our annual Holiday party. A number of special guests accompanied our VHS member party goers. Participants were festooned with a wide array of holiday themed costumes, sweaters and head gear.
Toni Wilson, who was our event chair, was not able to appear in person at the party. Nevertheless, she provided for many of the festive decorations, not to mention the prizes for the winners of our holiday quiz. Toni's sister Tina was able to pinch-hit for her sister and did an admirable job.
As has become our custom, we had a trivia contest as part of our festivities. The quiz was prepared by yours truly. This time we focused on, with only one exception, the holiday songs that were included in our December 2 annual show. The participants displayed their knowledge of arcane details regarding these songs. Ben Ziek once again was the first-prize winner.
