The Music Team Meeting was called to order at 7:18pm on 5/2/24. Members present, Tom Raffety, Jeffery Bunch, Bob Karlin, Ron Malkin and Mark Wolf. Toni Wilson and Jack Press were absent.
Most of the topics discussed were in regards to the 5/18/24 performance. The topics were:
1. Venue crew set up (Ben Marder and company)
2. Riser crew pick up, set up, tear down and returned to storage space (Jeffery/MarkW)
3. Sound system set up and tear down (Mark Wolf and company)
4. Silent Auction set up (Toni Wilson)
5. Drinks/Ice Cream (Mark Singer/Ross Brown)
6. Ticket Table (Sunny Arford??)
There will be various tasks that need to be done during the show, and Bob Karlin will talk to individuals about helping in these areas. Jeffery Bunch will send out Marching Orders regarding chorus call time, sound check time, etc.
We went through the info regarding the Memorial Day rehearsal and performance. All the info regarding this performance is on the website, which includes the music we will be singing with the other choruses in attendance. If you have any questions accessing any of this info, please let Bob Karlin know.
We have heard from Encino Farmer's Market people regarding performance dates in June. Of course, the weather will have a lot to do with when these performances will be. Once we have firm dates, the chorus will be notified.
Chorus Manager, Jeffery Bunch, let the team know he had been in touch with contacts to try to get some sing outs for the chorus. At this time, we haven't had any responses. We all need to get involved in trying to find sing outs for the chorus. Please do whatever you can to help.
Good of the Chapter......let's all be ready to give our audience on 5/18 the show of all shows. Show them how we love to perform.
Tom
