The Music Checker (usually the section leader or a director) will determine the member’s readiness to perform by one of the following methods:
A) Remote testing: All remote testing should be done singing to the Part Missing learning tracks, and should be recorded. Remote testing can be done:
During breakout sessions
During a one-on-one ZOOM meeting
By Phone (speaker phone desirable so that the checker can hear the other parts)
B) In Person testing (once we can be in person): In person testing should occur in the presence of the section leader (checker) and one or both directors. The section leader (checker) will provide three other voices to form a quartet for testing. In Person testing can be done:
During break at a regularly scheduled meeting
Before or after a regularly scheduled meeting
In front of the chorus at a regularly scheduled meeting
At any time that the checker)can arrange for a director and three other voices to be present
When the Music Checker determines the member’s rendition of the song is “Performance Ready”:
1) Click on Music Area
2) Click on Recording assessment
3) Uncheck Has recordings check box if it is checked.
4) In the Name box select the members name. In the State box select “Test Ready”.
5) Click “Apply”
6) Click the check box to the left of the members name for song(s) being evaluated.
7) In the drop-down box above the Submit button, select “Set Selected to Performance Ready”
8) Click Submit

6) Click the check box to the left of the members name for song(s) being evaluated.
